Who is Gary?

I started my career working in the Financial Services Department at Manatron as a tech support rep in late 1990. A little over a year later, I jumped to Inacom, working at the Kellogg Company as a Technology Installation Tech. This later turned into DataServ, who took over the technical service contract from Inacom, with me just switching employers. I would stay in this role for about two years when I then took a position with Information Resources, still on-site at the Kellogg Company, as a Database Administrator, in 1994. From there, the following 20+ years of professional experience can be found on my resume.

From that resume, you might notice a gap in employment starting in 2008. Early that year, it was becoming clear the web store my wife and I were operating was not sustainable. With business drying up for both of us, we decided to move to Indiana where there appeared to be more options. We had three younger children at the time, and we could not find a house to buy that fit our needs. So, we deciede to build. And then the mortgage/financial crisis hit. Suffice to say it was an experience I hope to never go through again and one I will never forget. I was able to learn more about home building, though, and finished much of ours myself. All said, it was about two years before I was able to find employment again with Axcess PC in 2010.
